STOP CROSSING YOUR LEGS

I just got home from the doctor. I have been having a numbness down the right side of my right leg and up on top of my foot. My pcp sent me for a nerve conduction test today. Today I found out: rapid weight loss + diabetes + crossing your legs can result in Bilateral Peroneal Monenueropathies. AKA footdrop. That means your leg will get weak, go numb and it can happen to you. A quick test is to try to walk a few feet on your heels. (I can't anymore), There is no cure. The best to do is stop crossing your legs, make sure you get your vitamins and proteans and exercise by doing the heel stretches to try to keep it from getting worse and becoming clumsy. This will not happen to everyone..just like the hair loss.

Oh but its been such a highlight!!! 'sigh' thanks so much for the information! It will definitely make me think twice about crossing my legs...even though I am just beaming with pride that I can do it I guess I will work on the yoga instead! Thanks again Elizabeth M
