I lost weight even though....

Hello everyone; I am back from Orlando, Florida...well just in time right before the Huricane hit. I posted last week sometime about how it was my dream to go to DisneyWorld...well that dream has come true...it was beautiful!!!!! While I was in Florida - I have to say I ate like never before. I stayed in a beautiful Villa (apartment like) it had a huge kitchen...bigger than mine. I decided it was better if a bought a couple of things to cook at the Villa rather than spending crazy money in restaurants. Every morning I would make scrambled eggs w/ham and toast w/butter and a glass of juice. We would eat at the parks - hamburgers/hot dogs/soda pop/chips/fries - well you know fast food (junk food). I have to admit I even had a piece of red velvet cake w/cream cheese frosting..mmm-mmm-mmm!!!! I did do a lot of eating and they were not the best choices - but hey - I did not over do it either. I figured that I would definetly hit a plateau, maybe even gain 1 pound or 2 but nnnnoooooo....I lost 6lbs...go figure!!!!! Maybe it was from all the walking we did in the parks. I have no regrets about my mini vacation or the food I ate, but I am being careful now that I am back. Florida was beautiful - before Frances .... Edna 255/172/???

Edna! Congrats on your loss over your vacation. Thats wonderful! It happens (the splurges and slips) but as long as we get ourselves back on track and don't turn it into those bad habits again I think we will be alright I know I have to get back on track and kick the bad carbs to the curb...always struggling with that. Well best wishes and I hope you dont have a hard time getting back on track and congratulations on the 6 pound loss thats awesome! Elizabeth M
