Calcium citrate suggestions
I need to take my calcium citrate -- can anyone suggest how they're doing this. I bought Up-Cal D online and it doesn't taste (you mix it with the water) but it makes the water milky. For some reason this grosses me out and I just can't do it. Are you guys buying supplements and using a pill cutter, or what? I'm particularly looking for a pill that we can swallow at this point.
HELP. I'm in the middle of menopause and I know I'm doing myself harm every day I don't swallow this.

I'm taking chewable Caltrate 600 Plus from the drug store.
I take 2 a day, which is 120% of the RDA for calcium - I know we are supposed to absorb from citrate better than carbonate but I figure the extra 20% is covering it. Two or three times a week I'll have an extra one. The taste isn't that bad.
Good luck.

Vitamin World has a liquid calcium citrate that isn't bad at all. They have a few different flavors but the one that I got was blueberry and I just took it without anything...just a tablespoon and swallowed it. I'm really picky too and had no problems with it. Now I am taking the Walmart brand and they are pretty big pills but I don't have to cut them anymore...I'm able to take horse pills again.
Gano,
I've been taking supplements (BIG HUGE CAPSULES & GEL CAPS) since 6 weeks out. I have no trouble taking them ALL (about 8) if I take them over about a 15 minute time period. Calcium Citrate by Now Foods is one of them. Here's the info from the manufacturer (www.)nowfoods.com/?action=itemdetail&item_id=11526
It's a fairly large capsule. I get them at Vitaminlife.com here:

Have you not been cleared by your surgeon to take capsules??
