B-12 shots

Hello Marchers, I have to ask a Question, Is anyone else doing a monthly B-12 shot? If so do any of you get a headache or get dizzy after you have the shot? I have been getting dizzy when I bend over, or get up to quick for the past 3 days, It seems to be a little better today, But It's like someone wants to just push me over after I pick my head up after being bent over... Feel like I am a little tipsy Is anyone else going through this??? Stay Healthy everyone

If you are dizzy and lightheaded you should make sure you are taking in enough fluids, a minimum of 32 oz. per day and check your blood pressure. Maybe your BP is too low. The B12 shot should not make you dizzy at all. Louise

Louise is right. B-12 should give you some energy, but should have no side effects. I go for my 6 month dr visit this week. I have had blood work done, but have not seen the results yet. Since my mother and daughter both have to take B12 (without WLS), I rather expect that for myself. Joy

I am not taking b-12 shots but I am experiencing the same dizziness that you describe. I am trying to drink more and not get up too fast. Also I want to check my BP because I fear it could be low. Nic

I am giving myselft b-12 shots weekly, per my surgeon. I have TONS more energy. I still get dizzy when I stand up too fast, it's related to blood pressure. Drink more water! Lee M. 266/185/135

I take them and haven't had anything like that. I see that others have pointed to BP and dehydration. A blood test wouldn't hurt either, as we are prone to anemia. Gano
