Wow...dreams really come true!!!!

Hello My Friends; I have to say that for me "Dreams really do come true". My number 1 dream was to be a mother and I have 2 beautiful daughters ( they are my life). My 2nd dream was to have my gastric bypass and feel normal and it happened 3/24/04!!!!! My 3rd dream - well it was more like my childhood dream...go to DisneyWorld!!!! I have to explain....my wonderful mother was a single mother. My dad left her 2 weeks before I was born. My father re-married and had other children and I did get to see my other siblings once in a while but I remember one specific day when my mom was having a really hard time with the rent, food and other things and of course always managed to her best. There was one weekend when my dad came to pick me up and take me to meet my other siblings and they just kept talking about how much fun they had at DisneyWorld....I am sure they were not doing it to hurt me...they were children just like me. But I always understood that my father never really took care of me financially because he had his other family to support. I was a child and it hurt me to know that he took his other children to DisneyWorld but couldn't even buy me a winter coat. Oh Well - that's done and over with - I get very emotional about stuff like this....but so that you could understand where I am coming from....I promised my self that one day I would take my children and that day is finally here...I am leaving tomorrow!!!! OMG!!!! I think I am more excited than my daughters...they just kinda look at me and giggle..he-he-he!!!! I am so proud of all of my achievements...starting with being the best mother and daughter I could be and of course as you all know...having this surgery!!!! I can't wait to meet Mickey and give him a big hug and tell him "I have been waiting all my life to meet you".... Thanks for listening guys, Edna

How exciting... I'm soo glad for you!!! You're post has made me tear up... Have a blast, you'll have the time of your life... I'm going for my 10th time next summer with my parents, my husband and my younger brother that will be graduating from high school at that time and I'm just like you... I'm sooo excited...
