A WL Revalation...

I had a revalation this evening as I was listening to the sports while cooking dinner.... This football season, I will FINALLY weigh less than a tight end, wide receiver or tackle on any pro football team. Now how's that for happiness?? Now when I hear the stats on a football player, I won't cringe and think to myself - hey, I weigh more than he does! Now I'm just working on getting down below the weight of those quarterbacks! Go Team Go! -Wendy -48 lbs.

Wow, Wendy.... When I was in college I dated a fraternity guy. I spent a lot of time at their house and all the brothers knew me pretty well. They were always nice to my face because my boyfriend was a ranking member. However, he confided to me that on one of the "exams" they gave their pledges, they posed the question, "What do you expect to see when you go up on the third floor?". My boyfriend's room was on the third floor, and one of the multiple choice answers was his girlfriend (me) "suiting up for the big game." That hurt me, because the brothers had never let on that, privately, they thought of me that way. But I'm with you. It's great to weight less than a football player, in every respect. I've got a long way to go before I'll put on a jersey for a Superbowl party, but I'm working on it. Jen

Jimminy Crickets, Jen, you look incredible! I went to your web site and looked at your before and after shots ... wow. The transformation is stunning. Keep it up. You too, Wendy! I never thought of myself as just bigger than a lineback, I was always bigger then the whole damn field!! Take care. Maureen

So I guess my first goal is to get beyond those guys!!! I am laughing now because I know its going to happen Jen you do look awesome and your story is so sad that just sucks. I know what you mean though. You never know what people are REALLY saying behind your back. Thats all part of the obese torture we go through. Elizabeth M

That is so funny!!!! I grew up with 3 brothers and I always had to play the wide receiver. Not anymore, now I weigh less than all my brothers. I love your post. Rhen
