5 months today.
Hello Fellow marchers:
I had surgery 5 months ago today and have lost 69 pounds.
I went from a size 20 to a size 10. My BMI is now in the normal range, and I look thin.
My arthritis doesn't bother me much anymore. I can get down on the floor with my granddaughter - and get up again. My sleep apnea and GERD are gone altogether.
I walk 3 miles every day.
I have 10 - 12 pounds to get to my ideal weight.
WLS was the best thing that I have done for myself in years.
It makes every day feel like my birthday.
I hope all of you are as happy as I am with your decision.
All the best to all of you.
Love,
Louise

Hey Sally - good to "see" you again! Those arms of mine are a fake out. They do indeed hang quite a bit, but being tanned and that pose seemed to help out quite a bit. Lucky for me I didn't realize it would help disguise the hang like that, so it was a bonus!
I will be doing plastics probably next year sometime and although the arms will be the last or next to the last to be done, they WILL be done! LOL!

Louise you are a wonderful testimonial to the process...congrats! I will tag along on your shirttail here and post my 5 month progress too...although my official weigh in is tomorrow.
I made the big 5-0 on my scale today...so 50 pounds in 5 months...and have 20 more to go!
My blood pressure, and cholesterol are normal, I have no aches or pains anymore and my life has dramatically improved along with my appearance. I too, believe it is the best thing I have every done for myself.
Sally
