Did you ever wonder where the phrase "Clean Plate Club" came from? I stumbled across an interesting explanation of the history (and current misuse) of this concept. Check it out! http://www.aicr.org/press/pubsearchdetail.lasso?index=1659 Joy

Darn it all!!! All these years I was part of the wrong clean plate club!!!! That was a great read! How about that! I remember always hearing Eat whats on your plate there are starving kids in the world...they sure left out the "only put a little on your plate" part! So then it would read "Only put a little on your plate - there are starving kids in the world - finish what you have and don't eat between meals!" hmm... sounds a little bit different! Boy did Wilson start an epidemic! How easily that got twisted around! Neat article thanks Joy! Elizabeth M

uh yeah I missed the part about only putting a little on your plate. And what is up with restraunts? Why do they serve so much food? My BF and I now split meals and there is enough to take home for later and he didn't had WLS.
