Need the Prayer Warriors
It's been a rough week for my whole family. Today was the worst. My sister's family is having a very rough time and today, my brother-in-law nearly ended his life. If you've ever gone through the ordeal of talking a gun out of someone's mouth (probably not) you'll know just how emotionally bankrupt I am right now. My brother-in-law has been depressed for a while and losing his job two days ago was the final straw. I can't imagine the depths of his despair to choose to leave the children he adores. He's in the hospital now, but has a long road to recovery. Please pray for my sister, brother-in-law and their four young children.
Hugs,
Connie

I will keep you and yours in my thoughts. I am glad that your brother in law was stopped before he could go through with it. We lost a member of our extended family in November who lost the battle with the depression and while not a direct relative to either of us .. there is a hole in our lives now.
Take care.
Hugs, Mo
My arms are around you and hear my voice quietly urging you to rest. I am so sorry. I know suicide; it is built into the fabric of my life from a very young age. My heart aches for you, your sister, and especially their babies - the greatest harm to a child is his parent's unhappiness. God speed in healing and health. Love you, M.
You got it my friend!!! Lost a brother to depression who ran
his truck into a tree at 85MPH That we could not save. Prayers
are being said for Your Brother-in-law & family right now.As
well as for you to keep it together for all of them.
Hang In There!! You saved him, that is the main thing!!!

Connie;
Hugs and prayers comin' at ya from frigid Connecticut. While I've never personally dealt with suicide or direct attempts, I've certainly had lots of experience (some of it first hand) with depression-related self-destructive behavior. I hope that your Brother-in-law gets the help he needs and that your sister and the children can carry on while he recovers. I must also remind you, my friend, that you'd better not neglect #1 while helping your family. Be well Connie.
