My weight loss slowed down. So I thought I would try the Stillman Diet. I have been on this diet for the last 11 days and lost 9 pounds. I will stay on it for a total of 2 weeks. It works great but you cannot cheat not a little bit or you will gain. Good luck. Louise 231/161/150 http://www.lowcarb.org/stillman.html

Wow! That is amazing! It is basically a low-fat version of Atkins induction. I would not suggest staying on it long-term, but for a plateau buster, it looks like it works great! and you get in your protein and water! Congratulations! Joy -60

Hi Joy: I agree that the Stillman diet is not a long term solution but it is the fastest way to lose weight and perfect to go on for 2 weeks. The average weight loss for 2 weeks is 10 pounds and it seems I will get there. Dr. Stillman's book came out in 1969 and ahead of Atkins - so the Atkins is a modified Stillman and South Beach is a more modified Atkins. Louise

Wow! That was a while ago! Well, it seems to be working for you. If I stay "stuck" for much longer, I may have to give it a try! Joy -60
