Hi guys - have to share my new protein shake concoction with you because it is sooo delicious! After processing (I use my mighty Magic Bullet every a.m.), the shake is very thick and sustains me until mid-morning, when I have a healthy snack. Anyway, here it is: scoop protein powder (I use the Wally World stuff, whey protein with 23 grams - it's much cheaper than other brands); 1 Lite & Fit yogurt (comes in a variety of flavors and is only 60 calories); 2 ice cubes; 1 tsp. metemucil fiber powder (I need this to keep my pipes clear!); 1/4 C. cold water. Sometimes I add a little bit of fruit - like this morning, I added 4 blackberries. Process until thick and creamy with no ice chunks remaining. Drink immediately. I can't tell you how good this is! And total calories is only 170. Try it! Love, Reenie

Reenie, I agree with you about the shake. I've been ranting about these forever and drink one most mornings. I add ground flax seed for the essential fatty acids and fiber, but it is essentially the same. Hugs, Connie

Yup, If I add fruit & yogurt to mine they last for quite awhile, if they are plain with just protein & water I am hungry very quickly. Marilyn, the Bearlady

I hate to was the blender so I've gotten to the point where I am just making iced coffee shakes with crushed ice, water, instant coffee and protein. I can do it in a shaker and by the time I get to work it's all disolved. But Marilyn is right that doesn't stay with me long. I think I might have to try the yogurt idea at least once in a while. Hugs, Mo
