Is water helping you?????
Hi Everyone,
Hope you all are doing well
I was wondering. Has water been really helping you loose your weight? I am not getting in the water that I need. I am wondering if that is really hindering my weight loss. Has anyone here noticed that when they don't get in their required daily amount of water that their weight loss slows? Maybe I better start "forcing" it down
I need to kick start my weight loss again... Im struggling with carbs...the last couple of days I have been trying to cut them out of my diet again. (aside from the fruit)
Cant go without my watermelon! hee hee.

Hi Elizabeth,
I am not sure how big a part in my weight loss the water/liquid plays, but I know if I don't get my fluids I don't feel as good. I get sort of 'sluggish' and mopey. I got 'watered' out for a while, so I switched to Crystal Light. Now I am about half and half between the CL & water.

Your weight loss seems to be in line with mine I had surgury 3/15 and
am down 83 lbs., but yes water does help. The watermelon also has a
lot of natural sugar witch might be hendering you. What kind of carbs are
you eating? try the whole grain variety. Every now & then I crave carbs too, but try not to get into old habits. Hang in there, you sound like
your doing fine., Try and drink as much as you can.

I can't tell whether the water helps me lose or not - but what I do notice is that when I keep pushing fluids between my eating, I don't get hungry or start craving carbs. It helps me to keep my eating strictly to my set meals or set snack times and not any other time. Which is amazing since I've NEVER been able to do that before. Your weight loss seems to have gone very well - I think around average or slightly above. I had my surgery one week after you and am 4 pounds behind you. Good luck.
Thanks everyone, sounds like it really helps curve the appetite. Shelly its funny you should say that because this morning I got a huge cup and filled it with ice water and lemons and put in splenda for lemondaide. That really really is helping me get the water down today!
Thanks everyone for sharing. Oh the carbs... lately its been bad carbs! not alot of them but enough. I had a donught like on friday or saturday... cant remember but that was a REAL bad carb! but other than that sometimes a chip here or there. I have been cutting them out lately though the past 2 days
so I am trying to get back on track. Hopefully the water will help curve my appetite
I'm going back to the basics... everything I ate 2 months ago. Isnt the time flying by soooo fast!!! I cant believe its been 4 months already!!! Just blows my mind ... well almost 5 months this month is flying by too!

I dunno - I don't get enough in either, but I do know that liquids in general really do help the pouch feel full when you water load - or liquid load in my case.
I know that I have been worse than most with my water because I just got over a urinary tract infection no doubt because I don't pee enough!
