Hey you two, have you scheduled your 3-year appointment with the good surgeon yet? I'm set for 3/12 and I plan to stay for the group meeting that night. Will you join me?

Hi there Kiddo! I'm going to Aranow a little early (Feb. 7). They're a bit miffed at me because I didn't bother to see him at the 2 year point. Of course, because of their screwed up scheduling, my 18 month appointment was past the 21 month mark anyway which was close enough to 2 years for me. Also at my last visit, I waited in the waiting room until noon for an 8:30 appointment and I saw him for all of 5 minutes. This was after working all night, so it totally ruined my sleep for that day. If you get the impression from all of this blather that I'm a bit disenchanted with Dr. A., you're absolutely right. Don't get me wrong, he's a terrific surgeon, but I think that he's bitten off more than he can chew and after-care is suffering as a result. Hey Maureen, aren't you glad you asked about the 3 year appointment??!! LOL I guess that I needed to vent a bit. As for the support group, I'm afraid that they are a no-go for me for a while. I'm working 3P- 11P these days, so the timing just is not possible. I'd love to see you and Pam sometime, but it may be a while. Take care my friend and I hope that your 3 year checkup is all ACES!! im not sure if i'm going to schedule a 3 year. am i bad? if i could just get the blood work and have them look at that then say hey you are ok or hey you need to come in because of those results i'd feel better about it. the last time i went for the 2 year i felt like it was How you doing? ok? good. do you wnat plastic surgery? O no money for that? goodbye. im all for checking in and being seen but don't like the push out the door if you can't afford the plastics. my insurance won't cover it and i'm happy with how i am too. i did say if they could find a hernia i'd do it cause then the insurance would cover it. Dr A god bless him searched but coudlnt' find anything so it was a push out the door. the diatician is more money that isn't covered by my insurance and hey we all know how to eat i need more of the head doctor to keep me on track! which i feel that i can get going to the support groups. i'll plan on going to the support group on march 12th as long as it doesn't snow. i hate snow. whatdya think reenie are my thoughts not right about the 3 year?
