Don't forget that you're probably building muscle with all your bike riding. Muscle weighs more, but it's smaller & firmer than fat. I'm sure that your clothes must be fitting better. Keep it up. It's all for your health! Smile! CP

I bet you'll have another drop soon. This seems to come in waves. I'm dropping steeply again (but 10 lbs per month, not the 20 of the first couple of months), having stalled or puttered for maybe 3-4 weeks, maybe a bit longer. I did analyze my protein and increase it. My exercise was also picking up during that time, so I think we slow down to retain some water around sore joints, develop muscle. But then we spurt forward. If you're really unhappy, post what you're eating EXACTLY and get someone here to analyze it and make suggestions. I'm not great at that but others are. The darndest things can slow us down in that department. I'm 53 so I know what you mean about the, er, slow pace of it all, even though the rest of the world may perceive it as rapid. I have been MUCH more tired and for longer than I expected or than many others report. I'm still struggling with getting in gear in the morning and decreased my office hours AGAIN, grrrrrr. Gano 3/2/04 272/205/150?(can't decide and 55 more seems like a lot but who am I to judge)
