Monday morning food log
Here we go! Its early here. Last night I read an articule that said for good and proper food management, apparently now instead of calling it diets or programs we are now calling it food management. Just another terminology for us to remember. Food thingy is easier. We are suppose to PLAN what we are going to eat for the day. WHAT! No impulse cookies????? NO stopping at the gas station to Fill UP our tummys with useless carbs??? NO Dunkin Donut Coffee O give me a plain crueller??? Just one bite won't hurt!!!
What the heck I'll give it a try.
breakfast - 3/4 cup cottage cheese 8 strawberries and 1/4 cup blueberries. I LOVE fresh fruit.
snack - protein bar
snack - banana
lunch - 3 oz turkey slices & 1/2 flat bread, 10 pretzels
snack - raisins & a cheese stick
dinner - baked potatoe & 3 slices low fat yellow american cheese
snack - skinny cow ice cream sandwich
I usually have a glass of fat free milk too.
lots of water, tea, sugar free cough drops and lanolin tissues.
my nose is raw and red. I could either be a relative of santa or rudolph.
I would love anyone to critique what my selections are up there on the food thingy. I also read that to lose weight a woman needs to eat 2000 or less in calories a day. If my calculations are correct I'm eating about 1500 to 1800 a day but not losing. I work out 4 to 5 days a week at curves but am going to be joining the local gym.
I think that I need to write everything down as it goes into my mouth too. I do chew sugar free gum that seems to help me not eat as much.
well off to work!
Hi Pammy
That 2000 calories or less is for normal stomach type people.
With us, I was told that we are to keep our calories between
1000 to 1200 to lose the weight. Mine our usually over that so
I figure that is why I have such a hard time losing the added
weight. I plan to drop the calories after the move is done &
see what happens. Back to the basics for me Measuring/3 meals
a day & maybe 1 snack instead of many. Oh Yeah & the big one
will be exercise. Non-existant these days. except for the packing & work.

Well.... It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.
Started out with leftover scallops and shrimp for breakfast. Very low fat, very high protein. Good Connie.
Forgot something at home so I went home for lunch and had more of the same. Good Connie.
So somewhere in the afternoon, I lost my mind. I'm not sure what happened and I don't think there were any witnesses, but when I came to, there was an empty bag of Cheez-its, an empty bag of Gardettos and an apple core on my desk and the faint smell of chocolate covered raisins in the air. Granted they were single serving bags, but the carb attack was fierce and unrelenting. I can't even say that I put up any resistance. Don't know what triggered it. I think the guy who runs the snack shop in my buiding needs to put a restraining order on me to keep me 100 yards from his door.
As an act of contrition, I had piece of grilled chicken and lettuce and sliced cucumber for dinner.
I think I have a carb hangover.
Connie.
