Hey Reen, I'm in -- but I'm looking at mapquest, and NYC hardly seems fair. The city's a 45 minute train ride for me, and even though mapquest is full of **** a lot of the time, it says it's a three hour ride for you and there's no way it could be off the mark by two whole hours. I am pretty sure there's things happening in Stamford.. I think I went up there one time. That's much closer to splitting the difference even. Does that sound ok to you? Jen

Not a problem for me to meet you in the city, Jen, I look for excuses to go. I lived in NYC for 8 years so I know it very well. How about this - let's you and I make a plan and throw it out to the rest of the group; anyone else who is in close enough proximity to NYC, we'll plan a day there, either a Saturday or Sunday. Plan to do a lot of walking! Why??? Because we CAN! I'll email you off line, Jen. M.

REENIE!!! My hormone is only 10 ( I always knew he was advanced@@) I try to talk very softly to him that why he can't say QUITE yelling at me... LOL I loved Jen's idea of walking near the water being still and finding your center! I also loved Connie's suggestion at finding what "fills" you. I to gained weight over the holiday but truth be told I have been gaining weight since about May when my mom got sick. I would love to meet up if you all get together! hang in there! nic

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As I can see almost all of us are in the boat. This battle doesn't finish. First of all we all are having the same thoughts how to manage our food intake. The snacking every hour, getting food from everywhere you go. These holidays kills me. Going out for a walk is what only helps me , but it didn't take me off of gaining 4 pounds. Thats whats takes me out of my mind. I'm tryng to find out how I'm going to keep the pounds getting back to me, it makes me scare of eatting anything, sometimes I just drink my coffee and aviod food but, that doesn't help me. So, please let us go back to track what we can eat and get stick to it, it's a hard way but it's what we all need.
