I'm going to pull my idea for the March, 2005 trip because I've heard from several people who would like to pursue the idea, but realize it's not a good idea for the whole group trip. Besides, if we get into the Oprah show, I want to make sure I've lost as much weight as possible, so I am going to plan to go sometime in the summer of 2005, probably August. I will pursue this and will be writing Harpo Studios this week. So, if there is a small contingent of Marchers wanting to join me in Chicago, August 2005, I will move mountains to ensure we have a great time and get our 15 minutes of fame at the same time! I would like to if I were certain that WLS would be portrayed in a positive manner -- I've heard of shows having people on assuring them that everything would be positive, then only to find when it airs that they've chopped the filmed segments up and made it out to be different than intended.

Count me in. I live about an hour and a half from downtown Chicago, and I would be there in a heartbeat. I love Oprah and have been trying for about a year to get tickets to her show. Good luck!!! Karen L.
