My surgeon informed us that Thiamin was a neccessity for us and that a defiency could lead to paralyzation eventually. He even said that he had seen it happen. For this reason we were told not to take Centrum, Flintstone chewables, ect. The recommended a vitamin from GNC. It is called Chewable Solotron. It has 15mg of Thiamin. It comes in a big green bottle. And I was pleasantly suprised with the taste. Oh yeah, and it is only around $12 for a 45 day supply.

Rebecca - THANK YOU so much for this info. I will definitely check this one out. I am having trouble finding a good vitamin that doesn't make me gag. I have found that I can swallow some tablets so I've been okay with nothing getting stuck so far, so hopefully I will get this evened out soon. I hate most chewables. Dina
