Hi everyone, Kat posting for Rob again, this time with something a little more upbeat to say! Today he was seen by a pulmonary specialist team that did some tweaking on the ventilator. Rob responded immediately and took some breaths on his own. This was very encouraging. They are going to start slowly weaning him off the morphine and the ventilator - maybe we will get him back sooner than we thought! It would be so nice to see his eyes open and have him say something to us. Maybe by Saturday, when I go see him next. In light of all the weeks of no change, we are very happy indeed about this news. And thank you Sarah, we got all the posts printed out in the nick of time for him to read! Love, Kat
