I'M OFF TO THE AIRPORT...STARES???
Dear friends, I am flying out tomorrow to visit my father in Florida. He is getting on in years and we have not seen each other in 3 years. I am looking forward to our reunion. I usually dread flying but am hoping it will be different this time. I have lost 60 lbs. since my first appt. with my surgeon in December; am down 40 lbs. today, since my surgery, March 8th. I am hopeful I will not need the extension and that I won't have to tolerate those awful, pitiful stares from the other passengers as they squirm in their seats wondering if I am assigned to sit next to them. The weight continues to fall off ever so slowly, but I'm losing. And every pound we each lose is a pound that we will never regain again. Be well, be happy, be grateful -- as I am for sharing this experience with all of you. Best, Maureen
