Post Office Food Drive, Sat. May 8th
Hey, all! 
This is your 5-day warning! The Post Office's national food drive is this Saturday, May 8th. I just started putting a bunch of my post-op stuff that I didn't use into bags to leave at my mailbox on Saturday, 'n I remembered I'd said I'd remind you all.
I'm ROFLOL here...what EVER possessed me to buy FOUR boxes of Cream of Wheat? Did I think I'd be on "slop" for a YEAR post-op? OMG!! 
My carrier is gonna think I've lost it or something...I've got everything from Gerber Rice Cereal and various jars of baby food to broths to soups to the boxes of sugar-free pudding I couldn't use (aspartame allergy). Hey, the food banks here are gonna hit the MOTHER LODE just with MY excess post-op stuff! 
For those of you who don't know 'bout this, it's an annual food drive that the Post Office does. All you do is bag up (or box up) any cans or packages or bottles of food and leave it at your mailbox, and your mail carrier will pick it up and take it back to the post office. Then they package it all up and deliver it to local food banks around the nation. 
I do it every year 'cuz it's a MOST EXCELLENT way to clean out my cupboards: THEY pick it up from you, you don't have to drop it off anywhere. But this year is BONUS year 'cuz of all the stuff I'd bought but didn't use post-op. 
Anyway, I'll post again on Friday to remind you all.

this will come in handy..now I can get rid of all those nasty vegetables ..blah LOL. I will stock a bag up and leave it for the mail man,...that is what cha do isn't it??
