Heart Beating Hard!

Anyone else notice that when they possibly eat too much or too fast that their heart beats really hard? I have gotten that a few times. I just had some soup and I didnt really eat it too fast but it was about a cup. Now my heart is just pounding! Just curious if anyone else has felt this. Elizabeth M -44

Yup - it's probably that you are dumping on it. That is one of the symptoms of dumping. I wonder what kind of soup it was? Might check to make sure it's not something that has a lot of carbs or fat in it. Being in a liquid form it can cause a quick reaction in the colon. Dina

I am sitting here at work and I just ate 6 ritz crackers with a couple of turkey slices and cheese slices and I just had the same reaction. I feel a little queesy right now.

I have to agree with Dina. The only time my heart did the hard beating thing was when I ate two teaspoons of low-fat peanut butter. It hit me all at once and was HORRIBLE. It was bed time so I went upstairs and basically passed out. I bought some low carb peanut butter after that and still won't eat it in a spoon. Dena
