Linda - Yeah Hurling is just all part of the testing and learning process. I wouldnt go back to puree foods. You gotta test the waters Even though it can be unpleasant at times I've hucked a few times and also have gotten nauseous to the point of hucking! Happy Girl - Yeah those pork rinds are weird. I chewed them all up and it was soooo thick. My pouch instantly felt those puppies. I was alright with them but it felt funky in the mouth. Hucked last night on chicken pot pie (think I ate to much too fast though) Elizabeth M -44

I haven't hurled on anything. But there are days when one bite or sip of anything will just 'sit there'. Toast just doesn't work. Haven't tried untoasted bread - and probably won't for awhile. I can eat crackers and soy chips tho. I have found that I can only eat eggs if they are fried overeasy using PAM. All attempts at scrambled or omelets (even just egg whites) have led to being uncomfortable on the 1st or 2nd bite. I have tried lean pork, a couple of bites of ham, turkey bacon, hamburger, chicken, shrimp, artifical crab, and fish. FISH is the only one that I haven't been able to eat without pain, regardless of how slow I eat. I did have shrimp with garlic one time and that was VERY painful, I wanted to hurl! I think it was the garlic. I think the easiest of the meats to eat is crispy turkey bacon and the artificial crab. I haven't been too adventurous, especially with spices since the garlic incident. I eat cottage cheese as a side when I eat most meats. It just helps to add the needed moisture. Last night I had about 5 pistachio nuts and didn't have any problem whatsoever! I was amazed!
