Rash
I've had a rash since WLS. Its all over my chest and neck. It comes and goes and itches all the time. When it is bad it burns.
When I was in the hospital the morphine made it really bad- and I was on morphine and other pains meds in the hosp for a month (pancreaitus) I got benadryl every few hours. IMO the meds are still in my system and working its way out?? WHo knows. Rashes are very hard for Dr to understand.

If you think it's an allergic reaction, I'd try 10% cortisone cream (drug store) and Benadryl (if you can take it.) If that doesn't work, go to a dermatologist. Rashes are their specialty. I have sensitive skin and have gotten magical creams from dermatologists that work when all else has failed.
ps- because of my 'sensitivity' I moisturize at least once if not twice every day - when I get up and when I go to sleep, and I use Cetaphyl lotion. I've been to two different dermatoligists (I moved) and both recommended Cetaphyl for me over any other moisturizer. I use the Cetaphyl soap now, too.
Best of luck,

I have a weird patch on my forehead since my surgery. I have sensitive skin and think they might have rested an intstrument there or part of the paraphenalia from the breathing tube. The way it is moving sounds like allergy. If it's the drugs you got, it takes about 1 month for everything to move out of your system. But it may be completely unrelated to your surgery. If your surgeon isn't too interested, call your internist or a dermatologist. Does it itch? Allergic rashes often itch wildly. But, of course, sometimes they don't because...allergies are frustrating.
I'm about to have this patch checked out in case it's unrelated.
