My first huck...

Yup, that's the feeling I described several posts ago. The pain is very intense. The first time it happened I didn't feel like I was going to (or needed to) huck. The second time, I should've but I hate throwing up so much, I just kept walking off the pain and swallowing, swallowing. Let's see, the first time it happened the cause was meatloaf -- which was the very first time I attempted to eat meat post-surgery. The second time...I can't remember what it was but boy was that unpleasant! Hope you feel better! Maureen
huck. lol never heard that expression thats a good one
Much nicer.
I hucked 2 times? maybe 3. The first time was bad I had a little bit of chicken sandwhich and oooo...
that wasnt so good. I overfilled and it was bad. The other time was easter and I hucked on shrimp. They got stuck or I overfilled one and that wasnt bad at all it was like lean and blech... and it just came right up like nothing. I almost did the other day when I tried that recepie you gave us for the fake cheese danish (yummy by the way!) I ate it WAY too fast and it REALLY was stuck. lol. I got greedy! but I was able to take deep breaths and let it settle. I shouldve just bleched it up for relief. Yeah that baseball in the chest pain sucks! its like alien or something
Best Wishes!

any and everything depending on what day it is. i can eat something fine today and it will make me sick tomorrow. I can eat chicken one meal but not the next. I think it is because maybe I'm eating too frequently soemtimes, too much sometimes, the food is drier sometimes.
I'm an expert at
I can drive down the road and ralph into a walmart bag. Not pretty but convenient if you're stuck in traffic!

My hucking while driving was into a fast food bag, right there it tells you I was being a naughty girl!
I get that stuck feeling and complained to my doc. He said that feeling is my 'full feeling'. Malarky! I didn't believe it for half a tick! I told him that it happened with EVERYTHING incuding water. He insisted and I quit listening, on that point I felt he was wrong. It can happen after one bite or five or just a swallow of water. I knew it had to be something else. Every time I felt this pain I would end u*****ing and then there was this huge (sorry graphic I know) bubble of air and WOW the relief!
My husband and I went to Wal-Mart and got some of those baby gas drops (their brand was like 3.75 or so) and I only take 0.6 cc of it and it doesn't taste bad. That and I have learned to eat really slow for the most part because that gives the air down in the tummy a chance to trade places with the food.

Yes, this is exactly what happened when I had teriyaki chicken on vacation. An unbelievably bad experience (a blockage probably). My doctor tells me it's too early for anything fibrous, whi*****ludes things like asparagus that I never really thought about. I eat beans or zucchini for veggies.
All doctors seem to have different rules. However, since chicken was on his "you may have trouble list," I am believing him and staying away from anything fibrous for now and anything else on that list (coconut, popcorn, anything with seeds that are significant). I also had a very bad experience, same symptoms, eating Wheatena instead of Cream of Wheat. If you can tell me specifics of what makes you sick, I can tell you if it's on his "later" list. Later for him means about at least 3 months out and I was 3/2.

I have prayed at the throne quite a few times. But it isn't like the old hucking, it is more of just a very wet belch. Anyway, I don't tolerate chicken, turkey or veggies burgers very well. I keep going back to the chicken, and it doesn't matter how it is cooked, up it comes. The other day I got a chicken pot pie from KFC. I avoided the crust and was eating just the chicken and the veggies. I didn't over eat, ate slow. About 10 minutes after eating, I had to say goodbye to the pie.
I have had the pain you describe when one time I didn't think about eating and had three quick bites of asparugus. When I hucked, I could see quite well that I did not chew well enough. Lesson learned.
