***LAST NIGHT*** (KINDA LONG)

First I want to say Thxs to all *****plyed to my post yesterday. You are truely all God sent to me. Here is how it went... I wore my black skirt that has the lil dangle beads and a red botton down shirt with 3/4 sleeves. (skirt 18 reg./ shirt 16 thats right 16) I had rolled my hair earlier so it was nice. I wore just the right amount of make-up, not to dark, not to light. I wore some black strapy shoes that looked nice with my spray on tan. I know it is a shame that I have not been to the beach this year when I live only 10 mins from it. However, I felt really good. When we got there I was in the same situation that I have always been in. All of the men where talking to me as there wives talked about me. But this time it was different. I was asked by one of the wives that only talks to me if no one is around if I was losing weight. YOU BET I AM!!!!!!! No, really I say "yeah a lil". She wanted to know how an about how she could find out more. I told her about this place and to talk to her PCP...so on and so forth. Anyway, I realized something last night that I had never noticed before. Everyone of the wives is overweight. who knew??? I never noticed it before because I was to busy worry over what people were thinking of me, or staring at me. I also noticed that the ones that were not overweight where tried looking...in a working girl kinda way. You now the type...showing to much and would have looked better if they weren't. Here is the best part.... My Wonderful Husband never left my side and was holding my hand the whole night through. I was falling in love with him all over again last night. Oh yeah, Jackie, I got that Diva-tude workin for me too. Thxs again ladies for all of your encouragement. I love all of you very much. I don't know I would have done this without your help. I am off now to water arobics and then I will be attending a women's conference this weekend at the church. I will check in if I can and if not I will Monday. Have a great weekend gurlz. Irish Diva

Oh wow - this is really wonderful! I read your last post and I wondered about all those other women....I mean I know some firefighter's wives and although some are thin and pretty most are normal and pudgy and some are quite overweight. It is obvious that your DH is very proud of you and wants to show you off. Sounds like he has always felt that way about you. That's really sweet! Dina
