Have a "skinny" day
Last night was the final night of bowling for my league. Afterwards, we all bring in food and gather in the bar area to celebrate. I got compliments on my weight loss from six or seven guys in my league. It really picked me up, because I've fallen in the trap of comparing my loss rate to other people on this board.
Anyway, I'm still pumped up from last night, and I've decided to have a "skinny" day. I'm going to pay attention to the looseness in my clothes. When I sit in the conference room chair at work today, I'm going to notice how much better I fit in it. I'm going to cross my legs. I'm going to drink my water. I am going to ignore the donuts and bagels that will be in the room. I am going to be above it all. I also made plans to go walking with a friend right after work. I'm going to be "skinny" today.
Hope you all have a skinny day too. Remember, half of this journey is in our mind - let's start THINKING the walk in addition to walking it.
