I'm Baaack!!!
Well I just got back from Tennessee today. My grandmothers funeral was last Monday in Michigan. This has been a loooong 2-weeks! Thank you to all of you *****plied to my "panic post" the day my grandmother had her stroke. It is hard to let go as she has lived with my family since I was 3 years old, but I know that she is in a better place now.
Traveling was easier than I anticipated. I did however advance my diet beyond what my Dr. suggested that I eat. It was hard to find a place that was willing to puree my food for me.
We ate at Cracker Barrel alot as I could order the cottage cheese, mashed potatoes, and apple sauce from the extras menu. That however became very boring very quickly so I tried chicken and fish and was able to keep that down with out a problem, now I have a fish addiction.
I guess there are worse things I could be addicted to.
Thanks again for your support. And kind words.
Leslie

Leslie, I am glad to see you are back. I have kept you and your family in my prayers. I know what you mean about places to eat it is hard for me to read a menu now it is like a test you take for school. Hum what can I have that will be healthy? Can it go down? And man she ask me what will I have to drink... Well I always say jus****er and then I don't drink any then I search the menu over and over and over. Boy it is hard but I usually find something. God bless you and your family. Sarah T
