Let me tell you, I think I'd rather go through the pain of childbirth rather than have to deal with this again! At least that body part helps you out a little bit by dilating!!!! I meant to reply to your earlier post today..but got sidetracked!
I am so happy you finally got things MOVING!
I bet if you weigh in tomorrow..maybe you will have lost a few more! Those 'babies' (as you say) can be heavy!! haha..thats the case with me, as I struggle with this as well.
A few things I have found helpful..
Fiber and Colace..it is perfectly fine to take colace or a stool softener every day. I have cleared this with my surgeon and primary doc. Just a softener not a laxative. So maybe keeping it in your system would help.
Also there is a product out there called Benefiber..its a white powder you can mix in with anything, water, juice, protein shakes..its tasteless and it provides more than enough fiber to keep things moving.
I have been told by many that the reason we get constipated is 2 fold, the increase in protein, and the iron in the vitamins...but they also say a healthy combination of fiber and softener helps and nearly cures..
Its working for me..I am now on the every 3 day plan and doing ok!
