i am scared i was told my a doctor at the hosp that my flap is not working dose any one know anything about this

HI Darlene Ask him what he means? If you don't get answers talk to you WLS surgeon or your PCP and find out!! It most likely can be fixed by a scope or fairly easy. Don't panic Just make sure you get another opinion before you do anything? Take care Marilyn, the Bearlady

Hi Darlene - we had our surgery on the same day! Welcome, I don't remember you being on the board before (could be my feeble brain) but I'm glad to see you posting. I don't know what a "flap" is - can you give us some more information? I agree with Marilyn, your first stop should be your surgeon who is the expert in your altered plumbing. What does your PCP say? Give us more information and don't be alarmed until you know what you're dealing with. Will wait to hear from you, Maureen
