You probably have a yeast infection. I get them every time I am on any kind of antibotics!!! I had to ask my PCP to prescribe me some Diflucan which works like a charm, its the 1 day tablet that you take orally and it always does the trick!! ~Nicole

Since it's the weekend and you probably won't get much out of your doc between now and Monday. Wal-mart or any of those type stores sell all kinds of products for yeast infections over the counter. Monistat has several formulations from 1 day to 7 day. Plus at Wal-mart they sell their own generic at a greatly reduced price. Va

Nicole, Yes my knee is slowly but surely getting better. I'm done to one crutch or my cane to get around now, and pain killers only to sleep. What a difference 3 days makes. Thanks for checking on me. Va

My dd always gets yeast infections from antibiotics - she takes monostat but not the one day - she says it's because she has to take the antibiotic for more than one day.

There is some over the counter cream called clotrimazole that is for athletes foot. It treats yeast as well. You can rub it under your arms and in other affected places. Yeast is miserable! The prescription diflucan is the best thing to get rid of it, but creams will sure help in the mean time! Joy

Athletes foot is the same type of yeast that you get 'down there'. My hubby gets itchy feet and I hand him the vaginal medication because the medicine for vaginal infections while not cheap is a whole ot more cost effective than the athletes foot medicine. If you get the Wal-Mart brand (or any that's a cream) just remember that you can apply the cream externally as well as the intended internally.... kills the itch big time and will help while you can't get to the doc! (just be sure to get the 7 day cream so you have enough) Take care and I hope the itch goes away soon! Gayle

Sharon, I am not sure that this is going to help BUT.... I get terrible yeast infections under my arms, breasts and belly fat (which is shrinking day by day) My Doc. perscribed me a powder and cream that fights yest. It is called Nystatin. I use it whenever on of my "problem" spots flare up. I don't get Vaginal infections very often, thank goodness...but this helps on the other spots that seem to suffer. Good Luck. Samantha
