Well, friends, I can finally say I am in the 200's ... I will NEVER see 300 lbs. again! The weight loss is excrutiatingly slow, as I see is the case for so many of us. I just wish I understood it all better but I am really trying to focus on how much better I feel, rather than how much I weigh. Still, it's been 18+ years in the 300's (even slightly over 400 for a short period there some years ago). Today, I am 299. I went to Curves and did that workout, and am thinking about joining. Anyone else doing Curves and, if so, what's you're take on it? I am amazed at my new level of mobility in just 6 weeks. Take care, everyone. Maureen 332/299/150

That's GREAT, Reenie! Yeah, it's slow. But it's so-o-o worth it! Keep it up, and stay patient! You're doing fabulously, and are going to do even better!!! Kimmer Queen of the Niners, Instigator to All Marchers, High Priestess of Giggles

Thanks, Kimmer! I see that you had your surgery the day after mine. Are you feeling well and how is your weight loss coming -- or should I say going??

The weight is coming off (35 lbs last time I weighed...last week sometime), but I think I've lost more inches than anything: I walked into the hospital that morning wearing a size 22, and I'm now a size 16! Had to go out and buy shorts for my return to work tomorrow (bleech) 'cuz all of mine were falling off! When I'd measured a few weeks ago, I'd already lost 27 inches. Zikes!
