NEW PROBLEM!

Can you feel the love? Have you tried a heating pad on that abcess? Helps my sister who is the queen of absesses. Gets the gunk to drain faster. Fluids, fluids, fluids. Consider yourself loved and hugged. Connie

I appreciate all the love and hugz. It made me feel alot better. I called my doctor and told me to keep up the antibiotics and pour some fluids in the g-tube and monitor the drainage. It was the smelly stuff draining again too. The drainage is down and the smell is almost non existent so maybe the abcess was not so big this time. Anywho......I was just feeling bad and wanted some attention. Thanks for giving it to me. You all are such lovely caring people and I thank God I have such a great group of friends. Gary, Sweetheart... C'mon! You've GOT to take a week or two or hundred off of this "one step forward, two backward" thing! I'm wincing while I sit here, I don't WANT you in any more pain or problems!!! Guess I'll have to pull out the heavy artillery 'n get all the prayer webs on it now. Enuff is enuff!! Question: are these antibiotics you're taking the same you took before? If so, you may need to be switched to a different kind. I don't 'member who asked if you have a PCP 'handy', but I'd get in to him and get the antibiotics switched...IF that's the case. Either way, you need a Doc to see this live and in person. You should probably have that abcess cultured, too....but I'm by no stretch a medical professional, this is all just from personal past experience. But I do think you need to see a Doc...IMHO... You just take it easy today. I've got some hottie gurlz en route to make SURE you stay cool and comfy today: they're equipped with their feathered fans, tons of fruit to feed ya, 'n lotsa drink to keep ya hydrated. Take advantage of their hospitality 'n let them do whatever it is you need done...it's another "gotta rest" day for you, my Manservant!! You KNOW you're in my prayers 'n you're on my mind, right? My Queen! Worst part is that I started back to work Monday and we are short staffed here today so my presence is required all day. Yes the antibiotics are the same as before. I will probably pay a visit to the Emergency room after I get home and have it looked at and tended to. My wife suggested the same thing but you know how hard headed men can be. Just knowing you care is all the medicine I need me' lady. I will be back to footrubs and feeding you grapes before you know it. Although I feel bad, everyone on the board has made me feel better. 'N us "Prayer Warriors" never run out of room on our prayer lists for another problem to bring to Him!! All you hafta do is let us know whutz ailing ya, 'n we're ON it!! Thanks for the love me' lady. Makes me darn right proud to be your manservant. I will let you know something tomorrow. I am feeling better and the stench of the ooze is now about gone. I don't feel feverish now but will check my temp when I get home and discuss the trip to the ER with my DW. I am on one of those antibiotics that will kill anything in it's path right now and so far it has done the job but nonetheless I will probably go get a second opinion from the ER doc. We don't have much faith in our ER where I live. In November they sent me home with a very high blood pressure and severe pain, suffering from pancreatitus. I went 70 miles away the next day to a reputable hospital and was admitted immediately. Stayed in the hospital for 10 days. Dr. said I was lucky as my pancreas was near exploding. That is why we hesitate to go to our home hospital. I will let you know though. Love ya! Gary Manservant to the Queen

Gary, Us Marchers are good pray-ers, so I'm sending some for you! You know we all "hate" you in a couple of months when, because you are a man, you've lost about twice as much as us girls have. I'm glad to have some guys on this board - it keeps things interesting. Y'all remember to pray for ROB!
