Hairloss usually doesn't kick in till the 3-6 mon. mark. I read an article about how the anistesia puts your hair into a shedding stage~ I don't remember the details but I remember that much. If I find it I'll forward it to you.

Joy.. Does the GNC hair vitamins come in liquid form? I am having a major problem swallowing pills no matter how tiny. Or maybe some one has seen biotin in a liquid form? Thank you.. Debbie

Alicia --- Yes it does!!! Anesthesia definitely caused me to go into a sheddng stage. and It was like 2-3 months after I had my gallbladder out!!! My hair started comming out like crazy so bad I had blood tests done and everything but they all turned up fine then we (me and the doctor) remembered the surgery and she said it was most likely the anesthesia. It does stop though and I actually grew back the hair I lost. I had all these weird awkward little baby hairs sticking up. I hope it doesnt start to fall out later because my hair is growing like crazy too. Elizabeth M
