UPDATE! on me!
Prev. post was : dr's can't figure out what's wrong....
Well I went in today and my Dr. Says that the lower part of my left lung is collapsed and he is sending me to a specialist on Monday and Fri. he's giving me an upper GI to make sure everything is flowing correctly. I fell relieved that atleast I know what's wrong~but I tell ya I can't wait till Monday to find a solution! Thank you everyone for your concern and suggestions I really appreciate it!

Alicia,
Would you believe when I went back to my surgeon on Friday that he told me I was released from the Hospital with the lower lobe of my left lung collapsed!! That's obviously what started the whole ball rolling down hill for me. The pleural effusion, pnuemonia, and the readmit to the hospital for $13,000.
Stay vigilant!! Don't let them put you off.

Alicia...
Good to hear they've finally 'figured out' what the problem is. But doesn't it just make you NUTS the way they take their time 'bout everything in 'this neck of the woods'??? I've never understood it...like, when I worked for a local hospital (for ~ 8 years), I went to one of 'our' orthopods...and I always went into his office through the back door - literally. I was taken in immediately, 'professional courtesy'. Dem Dayz is LONG gone, and now I have to wait and wait just like everyone else does. You'd think with a partially collapsed lung they'd make that high on thier triage list, eh?
What hospital/doctors are you working with? You're on my (gargantuan!) list of prayer needs...
