youch!
Welp I have a little sciatica problem
and oooowweee does it hurt. I pulled my back/butt/thigh out on friday... well thats just where the pain is. I woke up feeling sore and then figured hey I will walk it off went to the garden to Lightly rake and bent over and felt a tearing feeling and could barely stand up!! I was in bed friday saturday and sunday and monday and went back to work today just to leave half a day. One of the Ladies at work told me that a couple of her friends that had the surgery are having trouble with their sciatica so be careful out there! Best Wishes

I've heard a lot of people talk about their center of gravity being off and spine getting out of whack as they lose weight from wls. Possibly because you lose so much faster than with other methods?
In any case, I normally have pretty bad back and sciatica problems that I regularly see a chiropractor for. (In fact it was my chiropractor who wrote my strongest letter recommending wls for my insurance company.) Anyway, I see him once a week since surgery as a preventative measure and so far, so good.
