What did you eat yesterday???????

Wow, compared to some people, I'm feeling like a glutton. Here's today's list. Breakfast - Protein shake Lunch - 1/2 c tortilla soup with chicken, avocado and cheese Dinner - 2 oz crab Snack - 10 almonds and 10 raisins Yesterday for lunch I had about an ounce or two of gyro meat with the yogurt sauce. I was a little nervous about that, but it was fine. Connie

Well, I gotta get in on this, since yesterday was the 1st time since surgery that I had a good amount of protein. A.M.-Carnation Inst. Brkfst SF mixed w/carb countdown milk for extra protein Lunch- egg salad and chick salad 4 oz of juice (Sf Tang, I think) Dinner- Flounder Filet (about 4 oz) P.M.-juice w/unflavored protein pwdr mixed in so far today.....I had about 4 oz Oatmeal (new Maple/Brn Sug reduced sugar) and I'm now having about 2 oz chick salad. And of course sip water all day....not sure how much water I'm taking in. Warm Regards, Carol

This is an interesting thread. It gives everybody ideas on what to eat. Let's see if I can remember. Breakfast: 1 scrambled egg with cheese 2 oz of applesauce SF Lunch: 1/4 cup of Wendy's chili with a little cheese Snack: Blue Bunny SF Fudgcicle Dinner: 1 oz Pureed Roast Beef 2 oz Instant Mashed Potatoes Few bites of green beans Snack: Protein Drink: Strawberry Kiwi 1/2 cup Protein Chocolate Pudding And sip,sip,sip water all day long, from the time my feet hit the floor in the morning until I go to bed at night. It is always a challenge for me to figure out what to eat. I use the Carbo-lite milk to mix up puddings and mashed potatoes to up the protein. 12 gms protein per cup.

I think its a great thread to post "whatcha eating" because it does help to know how everyone is doing at their stage of the game, plus gives others some eating options. As of yesterday, being 5 wks PO, I'm allowed soft foods....its trying new foods that gets me alittle anxious. B=CIB w/Choc. Whey Protein snack= String cheese L= Danon Fit & Light yogurt (4oz) snack=s/f popcycle D=5 wheat crackers w/spreadable cheese Roadside Lemonade Protein Drink snack= s/f popcylce Water=30 oz Good luck, Wendy 3/15/04 275/249/150
