What did you eat yesterday???????

Hello Marchers, I was just thinking to myself I wonder what the other Marchers are eating??? Are they following the diet from their nutricionist(sp) or are they making their own menu's up as they go along ,trading cottage cheese for cheese sticks and so on, so I was wondering if you all would tell me what exactly you all had to eat yesterday from breakfast till dinner, and all liquids, hope I am not asking for to much just need a lil insight to what you all are having on a daily basis! Thanks for sharing this will help me out alot, because I am so sick of cottage cheese, oatmeal, applesauce! God Bless you all! Hugz Mary

Well lets see if i can remember...i had a protein shake for the am then lunch i had 1/4 of a turkey roll up on a low carb tortilla with cheese. then 1/2 a protein bar(couldnt stomach the taste) then dinner was 1/4 of a chicken fajita. not sure how much water i just drink as much as i can. then i had a protein shake before bed.

I had chicken salad after I talked to you, with an egg in it. This morning I had a protein bar for breakfast. Yuck And later today I had sweet potatoes. And lots of water.

Im still on my surgeon's suggested food plan of two meals a day. I find that I am able to eat cottage chesse, chesse sticks, green beans, cauliflower, and fish. I am able to drink protein drinks but honestly Im sick and tired of them. I have trouble still with turkey and chicken, it seems to be too heavy on my stomach. I can't really handle eggs still.

Well, I was given pretty open ended instructions, so pretty much anything but really sugary and fatty things (like milkshakes, etc) goes. You know - no junk food stuff...eat real meals. I didn't keep a good log of what I had, but I know I started off with a casserole. I made a one dish dinner with rice, broccoli soup, broccoli and meat of choice (can be chicken, ham, etc). I had a little serving of that and 1/4 piece of garlic toast w/spray butter. Later I had a container of SF/FF yogurt and a handful of popcorn (30 calories). I can't remember if I ate anything else. I think that was it. Oh yeah - early that morning I had 1/4 cup of oatmeal with my son. It was a bad protein day for me though. I should have had a protein drink but I just wasn't very interested. remember what I ate yesterday???? I'm lucky if I remember what I had today. Got a mind like swiss cheese - lots of holes for stuff to fall out. As far as following a specific diet, I have none - only restrictions. I am still not alllowed anything with seeds, skin or strings. Also, no breads, crackers, rice, or pasta for at least 6 months. I'm supposed to be doing 2 protein shakes and 1 meal, but on the protein shakes. It's all I can do to get one down, and it's not as potent as the ones my doc suggested - so I guess I'm improvising. I have diet sheets from my doc and 2 different nutricionists. I'm taking what works for me from each, leaving in doc's restrictions though. Let's go with today instead of yesterday: 4 oz of danon light 'n fit yogurt smoothie - peach (1st breakfast) half an egg with 1 slice taylor ham (2nd breakfast) about 1/4 c ff refried beans with salsa for lunch McDonald's bacon ranch salad w/grilled chicken - ate about half the chicken and 2 or 3 bites of salad - put my own light ranch on it instead of what they provide. as far as fluid - 16 oz crystal light, and at least another 16 oz of water before the day is out. Later on I will also be drinking a 10 oz protein drink - probably protidiet's tropical fruit. oh - I just remembered what I had for lunch yesterday - half a Wendy's small chili. Except for the refried beans and salsa, it's one of my favorite meals. mgm -31

So something I do is fill out my day of eating on www.fitday.com this allows me to keep track of what I'm doing. Yesterday I had Brunch 1 slice of ham 1 slice of swiss cheese 1 spoon full of beans Dinner 2oz Crab meat Late Dinner 3oz Yoplay Apple Turnover Light Yogurt MMMMMM Snack 1oz swiss cheese 40oz of water in the form of herbal tea.

Thank you all for your data on the foods your eating , I think I am going to branch out a lil more on certain food groups, I am going to try this famous cauliflower (mashed) I have been hearing so much about. I just think it is so interesting how we all pretty much had our wls with in a few weeks of oneanother and we are over the liquid stage but were now eating totally different food types! well I just wanted to thank you, and I will keep you all in my prayers, and Hope all your dreams come true for you! For breakfast I had one egg over medium cooked in pam. (And a side of tums) For snack I had low fat ground beef 2oz with honey mustard. Same for lunch. Snack I had some tyson roasted chicken Dinner I had More chicken I think. Great variety huh. LOL LaDonna

Breakfast: an egg over easy (couldn't fini****) Lunch: 2 oz of cream of bannana oatmeal Dinner: a piece of string cheese sipped on my protein drink and water in between meals all day
