A little poem for humor....

Each day I pick and carefully measure food for sustinence and not for pleasure (sighs)... my new little tummy is quite a tease some day are horrid and some are a breeze. My body is thinning a pound at a time I SWEAR I am thankful and I certainly won't whine (today) I'm learning and changing all kinds of stuff I know its not easy and in fact its quite rough! But one thing is certain and one thing is right my tummy is toning up perfect and tight.... as I kneel beside 'ol Johnny some days and some nights... my toilet has never been nearly so sparkling bright! I noticed today that I have definately improved my housekeeping habits in the bathroom area post-surgery. Ya wanna kneel on a clean floor after all!!! PS -- this post was meant in humor and in no way was designed to display any kind of talent. And I missed you guys for the past few days and I took a break -- so screw it -- I'm back and happy to be here amongst a loving group of supportive friends. Each and every one of you! Lissa

I LOVE it...and how true! I spent so much time in my main bathroom since my WLS that I've finally figured out what I'm going to do to it: it is, bar none, the UGLIEST bathroom in the entire state. Every year I 'attack' a different area in my home with my income tax refunds, but this year, the refund goes to my surgical costs. However, I now know EXACTLY what I'll be doing to the bathroom next year: even (accidentally) found wallpaper/border/trim that're exactly what I wanted (it's the exact colors anyway, which would've been hard to find...). T'anx for the humor...'n glad to see yer chipper face back here! Kimmer Queen of the Niners, Instigator to All Marchers, High Priestess of Giggles

Lissa, I'm so glad I clicked on this post! The things you say are ever so true. I didn't realize that my house cleaning was so slack in there, but a few days of huggin' the bowl showed me the error of my ways! Things are bright and clean at least in the three feet that I can reach from my perch on the side of the tub!! Gayle
