Why no green beans? Anyway. . . I eat mostly beans (all kinds). I love the Taco Bell Pintos n Cheese. I have been eating them since week one. I also eat mushrooms, broccoli, asparagus, lettuce, tomatoes, onions. . . . and lots of salad!! I try to stay away from starches other than beans so I don't eat potatoes, corn, hominy or carrots. Cauliflower is also good. Melt some cheese over broccoli or cauliflower and you get some protein with it. The lowest sugar fruits are cantelope, and berries (strawberries, blueberries, etc.) Watch out for canned fruit. Even the lite has sugar added. Read the labels! Joy -30 lbs

Acutally fresh green beans steamed are wonderful!! Also I bought a George Forman grill and I cut up zucchini and yellow squash and spray I cant believe its not butter on the grill and grill it YUMMY!! I have eaten roasted potatoes(no skin). I tried watermelon(ate it fine) and cantelope(it was so good I didnt chew well and had the stuck feeling) I can eat like 3 sections of an orange those are the only fruits that I have tried. We ordered carry-out from Applebees last night and I had the 7 ounce sirloin(which I only ate about 1 ounce of) and double steamed veggies. I ate the squash, zucchini, and green beans from that but didnt touch the carrots as I know they have a lot of natural sugar and the sugar goes up when carrots are cooked. Hope that helps!! Hi LaDonna, CARROTS ARE EVIL!!!!! Had bad experience with them last week. Besides that, I eat green beans and califlower mostly, with an occasional potato or broccoli. Bought a seedless cucumber the other day to try someday soon. As far as fruits, mainly watermelon (my favorite), honeydew, peaches, pears, apple sauce, and pineapple. I get the canned peaches, pears, and pineapple - all in 100% juice, no syrup - not even light. mgm -31

I like to drinkV-8 juice as part of my fluid. One 8oz. counts as two veggies.

Wow! Am i the only one who is 1 month out not eating veggies?! I am missing them so much....I am supposed to wait until 6 weeks I think....which seems silly if I chew them well. I will perhaps try some caulitflower and brocolli this week with a bit of protein. I will take your advice and stay from carrots, potatos and corn. Sue

Careful with the cucmbers and tomatoes - I was told nothing with seeds, skin, or string. The cucmber seeds could cause a blockage. I got a seedless cucmber to try, but havent' cut it yet. Tomato seeds are smaller, but I've been removing them before eating tomatoes. mgm -31
