Someone Noticed!

I've been on another darn plateau for the last 9 days. I know the laws of physics dictate that this weight WILL come off, but I'm not feeling any skinnier than I was a week ago. So there I am sitting in my office wondering when the scale gods are going to grace me, when another manager comes in and asks me how I've lost all this weight. She had no idea that I'd had surgery and said I looked much smaller. YEA!!!!! Validation that this works. Of course I went into wls verbal regurgitation. Told her all about the surgery, drew pictures on the white board and told her more than she ever wanted to know. That'll teach her to pay me a compliment. lol Today is the department picnic. I've skipped the last two years because I just felt too fat to waddle around the park and sit by while everyone played volleyball. This year, I don't care how fat I am. I'm livin' life. Connie

That's fantastic Connie! I can't wait for that moment myself when people around me start noticing! Actually, DH says he sees it now, but I won't go back to work for a few more weeks, so we'll have to wait for the shocker then! Dina

Isn't it a beautiful feeling? I have been getting gushing compliments all week long That is just with 32 lbs gone! The funniest thing happened yesterday, though... FOUR DIFFERENT people told me I looked shorter!! Now imagine that to someone who is only 5'1" to begin with. Exactly how does losing 30 lbs make you look SHORTER?????????????????? Karla 215/183/130?

This is Marys soon to be Husband! Richy im so delighted hear about your weight loss,as it seems to me everyday i look into marys eyes and just keep looking at her,shes lost soooo much weight and how i know is ,shes used to wearing a size 30 pants and is now in a size pants 22 wow what a diffrence!!!!! she looks so beautiful and i compliment her almost everyday assuring her that things will get much better for her...she walks everyday approx.3 miles a day..that will do the job to lose that weight!..but i love her no matter what,but i must say that since the surgery we have become more,and more closer everyday in life and i thank god for it!!!thanks everyone for all your prayer and support! all wls please keep in mind we all know its hard for some of us to lose such amount of weight but remember Good things comes to those who wait! we love you all and god bless! That is so great I am proud of you. I have lost 29 lbs. and I too do not feel any smaller. My pouches name is formaly waddles....
