quick update

hi gang!i went MIA a week or so ago-ouch! right after i posted about the what's new thread on the over fifty forum, we got a phone call from hell. michael's 41 yr old son, stephen( in houston texas), died from a heart attack-and congestive heart failure--he had gotten sick last year when michael did- steve's was from an infection from a bad tooth--get your teeth checked! anyhow- we dropped everything and drove the 1300 miles almost nonstop to texas to his daughter's house ( the one with the 10 yr old twins). due to meds and michael's newest surgeries-i did all of the driving-i love to drive but i was whooped by the time we got to houston! she( daughter) no longer has "net" so i logged on from the library a few times- sorry taht i didn't check in here- limited time--we drove back home in the rain sunday and monday..... so -i am rushing around this morning getting ready to--finally!-return to work- it's been a month almost --- i owe some more details here but gotta run-- in my reply to marilyn i referred to needing to move closer to mid country-that is why-if we lived halfway between everyone it would only take half so long ???? love ya all-don't know how frequently i'll be around-my mom arrived last nite for two weeks so that i CAN go back to work and leave michael-he is so depressed about steve.
