I talked to Rob's mother
Not much to add to Kat's post. She said his heart rate is down some (that is a good thing) and they are gradually turning down the oxygen on the ventilator. They feel that a leak in the bowel area was causing the infection and hope the new drain will take care of it, but warn that it may take several days to see a difference.
His temperature is bouncing between 101 and 103. We need to pray that he turns the corner on this infection!
Thanks Marchers!

He is contantly on my mind - now my whole family asks how the Caboose is doing. My hubby actually called me in the middle of the day to see if I'd heard any more on his progress. Boy - does Rob have us all on our toes!!!
My family and I will keep praying for him and his family as they get through this crisis. I'm sure that he'll be just fine.

Joy I will be in prayer for Rob. I hope that he is doing better soon. I will carry him in my faith.
Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with the oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sich person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. James 5:14-16
