desserts cravings
I have been eating 2 things Mexican:
Beans/cheese/salsa (great protein) - I buy the Fat free refried beans
Beef, bean, or cheese enchiladas when eating out. I order one a la carte and eat the insides.
I named my pouch Pepe. He seems to like Mexican food. Just try to avoid fat as much as possible.
Sugared deserts are not on my horizon, but there are some great recipes for sugar free deserts made with splenda.
We need to all start posting recipes. On the December 2003 board someone has been posting recipe of the day (ROD) and they look great!

I posted this above but am putting it here for you.
1 Box sugar free strawberry jello
1 box sugar free vanilla pudding - cook and serve - NOT INSTANT
2-4 cups of strawberries, sliced. I had a little splenda to them.
2 cups water
Put cold water in pot and add pudding stir well and heat to almost boiling.
Remove from heat, add jello, stir well to dissolve.
Pour over strawberries. These can be in small dessert cups or a pie pan.
Put in fridge to set.
This has less than 20 cal. per serving and helps with cravings for sweets.
They are putting out a lot of carb smart products. I buy them whenver I see them. They have carb smart ice cream and ice cream bars that are good. Look around you can find desserts in them. They have cake mixes and frostings and candy bars, I don't buy all that but they have dressing and are coming out with condements. Just remember that phrase CARB_SMART
