Trick for those who eat too fast!

Hi everyone. I have discovered a trick that has helped me to slow down while eating. I was really struggling with eating too fast, which made me eat too MUCH, then I got sick. Took some experimenting, but I've done it! The first one is to use chopsticks. You have to cut your food into small pieces first, and then when you eat, you can only pick up one piece at a time. The second trick is to use a baby spoon. That thing only holds so much! I hope this helps anyone who has the same problem I am having. Does anyone else have any good suggestions on slowing down on eating? I'd love to hear them! -Naomi 380/335/150

I have the baby spoons, I bought the ones you can throw away because they looked fun. I wouldn't have thought of the chopsticks though.... now to find some! I know! I'll sharpen a cupola sticks, that oughta do the trick! (it's what I do for knitting needles so why not din-din?) Gayle Queen Of Yarn Balls 320/297/175

I find that I have to think about eating when I am eating - so no books, newspapaers or TV for me when eating. Of course for those of you with little kids - concentrating on eating must be difficult, when you need to pay attention to the kids. Louise - 21

One thing that works for me is eating with my left hand (I'm right handed), and making myself put my [baby] spoon down after every bite. I'm going to order some pickle forks, too.
