My husband and I own and operate a summer resort. We cater to families with children. Besides all the usual resort ammenities we have horseback riding and farm animals. I supervise about 100 people every summer.
I am also an RN and did that for many years, but not for about the last 12 or so.
Thanks for asking.
The diversity here is great.

I work for St Lawrence NYSARC as a Habilitaion Aide in a residence, caring for 5 Profoundly MR individuals. I assist them in every aspect of their life. Personal care, feeding, medications, activities, shopping, Dr appointments, housekeeping and goals. We also strive to integrate them into the community by attending concerts, parades, picnics, fairs and many other activities. I work four 10 hour shifts per week.

I am a police officer. I have been in law enforcement for almost 7 1/2 years now. In that time, I have managed to work for every level of gov't, except federally. I started out as a Sheriff's Deputy, then State Police, then City Police and now... I'm back with State again. Not sure why I decided to go into this line of work, but INSANITY is my best guess. I suppose I didn't want 2 degrees in criminal law and all those years of school to waste. It's a dirty job but someone has got to do it!
