I'm sooo sick I can't stand it anymore...

I woke up with a stuffed nose and a fever...I'm calling my dr. tommorrow... I've been taking good care i've been trying to take my liquids and I've been staing indoors... but I'm soooo tired I feel dizzy and I can't take it...Has anyone felt sick or gotten sick... My friend was telling me I might need more vitamins but I've been taking the Flinstones, b12 and the calcium chews...What is wrong with me has anyone gotten sick as far as fever cough cold like synthms? What does it mean?

Good idea to talk to your doctor to make sure nothing nasty is brewing, but it might just simply be that your immune system is so busy repairing the body from surgery that it cannot handle little viruses going around. Do get right on top of it though - you don't want to be getting bronchitis or a sinus infection right now! Good luck! Dina

yes I had a slight fever yesterday and stuffy runny nose with sneezing. I am going to the doctor today. I think my little cold has to do with the fact that the weather here can not make up its mind what it wants to do, we had 2 days of no coat weather and then yesterday it was only 40 degrees, the heat kicked on!! I'm going to the doctor's today and they are gonna do blood work so hopefully I'll know something later on!! ~Nicole

Hi Vanessa, I had surgery around the same time you did and i have a head cold. My ears are clogged. I think it is that our immunity is down now due to surgery recovery. I usually never get sick. I found a liquid "diabetic" (no sugar) expectorant. This seems to be helping me. Jo Anne
