Rob - the latest
Just talked to Rob's mother. The prayer request of the day is that he get off the ventilator. They feel this will help his heart rate to return to normal. He still has the fever. They feel that the twisted intestines was the cause of the infection and that they caught it right before it turned into peritonitis.
Rob is more responsive today than yesterday. He can signal yes and no to questions, but of course can't tal****il they pull the ventilator.
This is going to be a long waiting game, but Rob is a fighter. Dorothy was so impressed at the walk-a-thon/prayer-a-thon yesterday. She says he needs all the positive energy and blessings that we can send.

It works for me. I will pass that on to the family next time I talk to them. I'm starting to feel like family now! I've talked to everyone except distant cousins.
Be sure to remember his 22 year old daughter Katy also--this has to be really rough on her. And of course his mother Dorothy and girlfriend Kat.
You all are the greatest!

It's so got to wake up and hear some news! I have been very worried. Thanks Joy. I am up for the 5-min of extra excercise and the 6pm mind meld. I will also include his daughter in my prayers, how very scary this must be for her. My worst nightmare is to loose one of my parents., I start to cry just thinking about it. Joy you are also in my prayers. God bless
