Lunch on the run at Burger King!

Yesterday my daughter and I were on the road alot visiting friends and running errands. Time flew before I realized it was time to leave for her Dr appt (an hour away), and we hadn't had lunch. Well, we stopped at Burger King. I ordered a grilled chicken plain. When I got to the window, the guy asked me if I wanted the bun. I said yes, but only cause it was easier to hold. I ripped half the roll off so I could get to the chicken. It was fantastic - moist and tasty, and went down really well. I ate about 2/3 of it and stopped cause I didn't want to take a chance at overdoing it while driving. mgm

Marla, Cool. Now I know I can go out to eat when my co-workers go to BK...I'll try the chicken! You and I used to be 'neighbors'...I lived in H'borough for a couple years. One of these days I'll go back and visit my friend Mike (at Mike's Giant Subs) and a little place called Murphy's Crocodile Inn in Neshanic Station--BOTH are places I MEANT to get to pre-op. Anyway...seeing your post made me 'homesick' for Hillsborough. I live a bit more South now in NJ. Sandi

Funny you should mention Mike's - that's where I had my "final meal". He caters my daughter's birthday parties every year. My family loves his fried chicken and salads. I love everything I get from there! Never been to Murphy's. I used to live in S. Jersey, but have been here for since '87. mgm
