Protein drink recipe
My surgeons office sent me a whole booklet full of low cal high protien recipies and the whole front portion of this book is full of protein drink recipies I thought I would share a couple of them every day.
Frappachino protien shake
1tbs instant coffee(or splash of cold coffee)
1 scoop chocolate or vanilla protein powder
2 handfuls ice
1/2 cup skim milk
Blend thoroughly
Orange Julius protein shake
8oz non-fat plain yogurt
1can(6oz)orange juice concentrate
2 1/2 cup skim milk
1Tsp vanilla extract
2 scoops protein powder of your choice
put ingredients in blender, blend until smooth
Yields 6 3/4 cup servings!!
Peach Creamsicle
6oz crystal lite peach tea
2 tablespoons SF instant vanilla pudding
6 packets splenda
6 ice cubes
blend thoroughly
root beer float protein shake
2 scoops vanilla protein powder
1 12 ounce can of diet root beer(open and flat)
4 or 5 ice cubes
2 packets splenda
blend until frothy and enjoy!
Apple pie frosty protein shake
1 or 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
1 apple peeled, cored, and sliced(or 1/2 cup no sugar added applesauce)
2 packets splenda
1/2Tsp cinnamon
1/4Tsp nutmeg
3/4 cup water
8-10 ice cubes
Blend thoroughly and enjoy!
Chocolate covered Cherry protein shake
1 or 2 scoops chocolate protein powder
1 cup skim milk(or whatever milk you use)
2 Tsp sweet & low chocolate syrup
10-12 cherries
8-10 ice cubes
put all ingredients into blender and mix to desired consistency
last one for today!!
Egg Nog protein shake
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 cup skim milk
1Tsp rum extract
1/2Tsp of all spice
4-6 large ice cubes
put all ingredients into blender and mix to desired consistency, must be served very cold!!!
I hope you all enjoy these recipes and hope that they will help you drink your protein!! I did the apple pie one today and it was Awesome!!! Will put some more up tomorrow!
